Not much drawing, but still moving forward 💪🏻

Hi friends! 👋🏻

I wanted to share a bit of where I’ve been lately. The truth is, I've hit a bit of an art block. Drawing has felt harder than usual, and the ideas that normally flow so easily just… haven’t. I’ve barely had the energy to sketch, let alone dream up new products or designs.

It’s been frustrating, and a little sad too. Creativity is such a core part of what I do, and when it slows down, it’s hard not to feel like I’ve lost a piece of myself. But I’m trying to remind myself that these pauses are part of the process too. Sometimes, the mind and spirit just need a breather. 🧘🏻‍♀️

I only managed to finish one artwork since we last met, but I’m not quiet happy with the results. Sure, the image in funny, but the style, the colours are just… not it.

But here’s something good: finally made real progress on my inventory management app! 🎉 It’s been on my to-do list for what feels like forever, and getting to work on it felt like a small but meaningful win. The app will help me keep track of stock more efficiently and stay on top of everything behind the scenes. Even better, it’ll make managing all the GPSR-related information so much easier going forward. It’s not finished yet, but it’s already bringing a little more clarity to the chaos.

I also managed to finally get a new desk! And not just any desk, an adjustable one! After so long working on a setup that wasn’t quite right, having a space that can shift with me - whether I’m packing your orders or working on new creations - feels like such a game changer. Comfort might not seem like a big deal on the surface, but it makes all the difference when you spend hours creating, wrapping, and dreaming things up. Also, it will look much better when I share my WIPs 🫶🏻

Until next time 💖
